Help Mason Elementary Build A New Playground

The Mason Elementary PTO is currently raising funds to replace the existing playground at the school. Our current structure is over 25 years old and is unable to have parts replaced due to its age. With your help, we can create a great new space for our students and community.

The Mason PTO is committed to a new playground that is:

Healthy

A new playground will encourage students to play and be active

Accessible

We want a playground that is barrier free so all kids can enjoy it

Fun

Our new playground will have fun new designs and engaging features

Safe

Safety is paramount and a new playground will enable our students to play safely for decades to come

Our Goal is $300,000

We are currently fundraising and accepting donations towards this goal with a current planned launch of Spring 2024. We believe that with your support and the investment of our community, we can accomplish this dream of a barrier free playground for all.

New Mason Playground To Be Named "The Bill Mestdagh Playground"

We are thrilled to be able to name this new playground after Bill Mestdagh. Mr. Mestdagh was principal of Stevens T. Mason Elementary from 1966 until 1990. He is well remembered as a principal who knew and valued each student. We continue to hear stories of his kindness and generosity. It is an honor to celebrate his legacy with continued generations of Mason families.
